By using this website you accept the terms set out on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by IDEALS, an independent software studio based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

02 This site is information, not an offer

Everything published here is provided for information: descriptions of what we build, how we work, the principles we hold, and the figures we report. It describes our practice honestly, but it does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance, a quotation, a warranty, or professional advice for your specific situation.

Any figure we publish, including availability, uptime, and system ages, describes our record at the time of writing. Past performance on our own systems is not a guarantee of a particular outcome on yours.

03 How an engagement actually begins

Contacting us creates no obligation on either side. An engagement begins only when both parties sign a written agreement setting out scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and responsibilities.

Where that agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement governs. The commitments described on this site are the terms we write into our agreements: ownership of source and infrastructure, documentation delivered with every release, a named engineer, response within one working day, and quarterly written reviews. They take effect through that agreement rather than through this page.

04 Intellectual property

The IDEALS name, the logo, the text, and the design of this site belong to IDEALS. You may read, quote, and link to this site with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, present it as your own, or use our name or mark in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist.

Photographs of monuments used on this site are licensed stock images and remain the property of their respective photographers. They are not part of the IDEALS brand and are not licensed onward to you.

Ownership of work produced during a client engagement is dealt with in the signed agreement. Our standard position, stated plainly elsewhere on this site, is that the client owns the source, the infrastructure, the accounts, and the data.

05 Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to do any of the following:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or connected systems
• Interfere with the site's availability for other visitors
• Submit false contact details, automated traffic, or unsolicited advertising
• Copy or reproduce the site's content or design in bulk
• Use the site for anything unlawful

This site links to products we operate and to third-party resources. We do not control external sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

07 Availability and liability

We take reasonable care to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete at every moment.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of this website. An engagement agreement may specify a different forum, in which case that agreement governs the work.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
